Verified service providers
Each service provider submits a copy of their ID, a profile picture, a bank account in their name, and their social security and tax identification numbers in the format required by their country. Professional service providers add their business registration number and professional liability insurance details, and are identified by a PRO badge on their profile.
Review after service
Only customers who have booked and paid for a service on Yoojo can rate a service provider. Reviews, both positive and negative, are visible when selecting a provider for a service request and on the provider's profile. A customer can also rate a provider who has canceled, giving everyone an accurate picture of the reliability of the profiles. The average rating for providers is 4.9 /5.
Dedicated customer service
The Yoojo team responds via chat, email, and phone in the language chosen by the customer on the app or website, Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Customer service is accessible from the customer account, under the Support Requests tab, and during the payment process for the first booking. Service providers can contact them through the provider app, under Account > Help Center > New Support Request.
Yoojo Cover Warranty
Yoojo Cover is a support service included with every service booked and paid for on the platform. In case of damage, coverage extends up to 250 £ , and up to 1500 £ with Cover Plus, which you can select when booking your service. Claims must be filed within 7 days.To know more about it
Transparent pricing
Each service provider sets their hourly rate and includes it in their quote. The client compares the quotes received, noting the hourly rate and total price of the service for each, before booking. Once the service is rendered, the client can add extra hours if the provider stayed longer than required.
Free cancellation
A customer can cancel their service at any time and free of charge, via the app or website. The refund is automatically credited to their Yoojo account: the service provider's payment, already prepaid, is included in the refundable portion, and the service fee is converted into credits that can be used towards a future booking. The customer can then request a refund of the refundable portion to their original payment method.

Service providers appreciate the simplicity of the application, the freedom to set their rates and the regularity of requests, which allows them to organize their activity and develop their clientele at their own pace.
Payment and fees
The amount is collected via Mangopay, an authorized partner payment institution, at the time of booking, and then held in the customer's Yoojo account. With the Yoojo+ subscription, nothing is debited before the service: payment is made once the service has been completed. It is transferred to the service provider after the customer validates the service, and then becomes available for withdrawal.
For a one-time booking, a service fee of 10 % (minimum 2,50 £ TTC ) applies only at the time of booking. This fee is included in the total price displayed before payment, with no subscription or commitment required. For regular bookings, the Yoojo+ subscription eliminates this fee: 0 £ for 9,90 £/mois , making it cost-effective from the very first booking.
Registration, searching, and posting a request are free. The client only pays when they book: the rate set by the provider, plus the service fees displayed before payment. For regular needs, the Yoojo+ subscription, at 9,90 £/mois , eliminates the fees and the paid declaration, and becomes cost-effective from the very first booking.
The amount is transferred to the service provider's Yoojo account after the client validates the service, minus a commission of 7 %. It can then be withdrawn to the bank account registered in the profile.
Cancellation and disputes
If the service provider cancels, the client is notified by email and post, and the refund is immediately credited to their Yoojo account. Customer service suggests available providers during the same time slot, and a provider who repeatedly cancels will have their profile suspended. The client can still leave a review even after the cancellation, so that the reliability of the profiles remains visible to everyone.
If a disagreement arises within 7 days of the service being provided, customer service will review the case with both parties, suspend payment to the service provider while the matter is being investigated, and activate the Yoojo Cover guarantee if the case is covered.

Services provided by an individual must be declared according to the rules of the country where the booking is made.
