A Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is a public sector procurement route used to create a list of pre-qualified suppliers who can deliver works or services over an extended period. Unlike a traditional framework agreement, a DPS remains continuously open for new suppliers to apply and join, provided they meet the required standards and eligibility criteria.
Once admitted to the DPS, contractors are invited to take part in mini-competitions or direct awards for individual projects, known as call-off contracts. This ensures a flexible, transparent, and compliant procurement process, allowing buyers to source competent suppliers quickly while ensuring value for money, quality of service, and industry compliance.
✅ SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work under this DPS includes the provision of property maintenance and associated repair services across both residential and commercial assets as instructed by the contracting authority. Contractors will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive works, ensuring safe practices, regulatory compliance, and consistently high-quality workmanship.
Works may include, but are not limited to:
General building repairs and routine maintenance
Internal and external refurbishment works
Joinery and carpentry services
Plumbing maintenance and minor installations
Non-intrusive electrical repairs
Flooring repairs and reinstatement
Painting, decorating, and surface finishing
Voids reinstatement and property preparation
Damp and condensation prevention works
Small-scale structural maintenance and remedial works
Contractors must ensure timely response to issued work orders, maintain site safety at all times, and deliver services in accordance with service-level requirements, health and safety legislation, and quality management standards.
